About Us

Why We Are Different

Unlike many other shops that provide a basic ballpark price and subsequently charge based on 'time and material' as the work unfolds, we take a distinctive approach to classic car restoration. At our shop, we believe in transparency and commitment. Before we lay a hand on your beloved vehicle, we invest time and expertise in creating a comprehensive, detailed estimate.

Our process involves a thorough examination of every aspect of your classic car, from the essential metalwork and flawless paint finish to the intricate mechanical components that may require repair or enhancement. We don't just give you a rough estimate; we provide you with a meticulously itemized breakdown of the costs, line-by-line, so that you know what it will take to transform your cherished classic car into the masterpiece you envision.

Our commitment to providing you with a detailed estimate is rooted in our dedication to ensuring that your restoration journey is as clear and predictable as possible. We want you to have the peace of mind and confidence that you're getting precisely what you expect, and nothing less. That's what sets us apart.

How It All Started

As the owner of Finish Line Custom Cars, I have had an enduring passion for muscle cars and hot rods that dates back to my earliest memories. Growing up, I was constantly surrounded by these iconic vehicles, thanks to my grandfathers and several uncles who shared my fervor as dedicated gear heads. My fascination with all things automotive began at a young age; even before I had a driver's license or a car to call my own, I was already purchasing and disassembling engines.

I joined the US Air Force and was selected and trained in auto body and metal fabrication. I honed my skills in restoring some amazing and challenging projects during my tenure with the military. After my military tour, I worked at several exceptional classic car restoration shops, where I learned from some of the best in the country. My mentors had several decades of training. I was honored to work under some of the best auto body and metal fabrication craftsmen. Then, in 2001, my father-in-law inaugurated Finish Line Customs.  I joined his venture the following year.

Fast forward to 2014, when he retired, passing the torch to me. In 2016, I acquired both the facility and equipment, cementing my dedication to the world of automotive restoration. Finish Line has a team of great people who love to make our customers’ dreams a reality. For more than two decades, our company and team of great employees have been passionate about making beautiful cars and trucks.
